2021 WELCOME!!
Reflecting upon this past year, most are happy to see it in the rear view mirror. I can’t say that I can blame anyone for that sentiment; I certainly can sympathize with all those feelings. In retrospect here at AuSable River Outdoors we also have some positive remembrances to pawn on as well. Like they say, when life gives you lemons, make lemonade; and that’s what we did. We used the year to rebuild and focus on re-tooling, building improvements, adding equipment, marketing strategies, and mostly honing our skills. We also deliberated on which products to carry as well as manufacture and narrowed our focus down to particular products in each department.
We are very pleased to be hitting the ground running with our custom knives and expanding our retail line to include many, many knives and EDC/Outdoor equipment. You will find many gadgets for everyday use as well as cutlery to serve in all aspects of the cutting edge world. Camping, hunting, fishing, carving, bush-craft, first aid, survival, and all forms of kitchen cutlery just to name a few.
Beyond the knives, we also are offering in our store; air guns from Gamo, Benjamin, Beeman, Crossman, Daisy, Umarex, Firepower, RWS, Glock, Browning, Colt, Heckler & Koch and more. Accessories, ammo, and optics for your favorite air gun activity will be on hand.
We also hope to become northern Michigan’s premier stop for the fishing sensation of Tenkara .
As we venture into the spring of 2021 we will be introducing our handcrafted wooden boats. We will be showcasing riverboats, punts, skiffs, kayaks, Day sailors as well as Paddle and skim boards. And with any luck our first Teardrop trailer should hit the streets by summer.
Last but surely not least on our 2021 calendar, starting in February we will be launching our subscription based Mystery Box. Each box will be loaded with wonderful items that we manufacture and carry at drastically reduced costs delivered right to your door. More information on our subscriptions will be announced in the next few weeks.
So as you can see, we have peeled away and left 2020 to the past and we more than welcome 2021!
